Dr. Kirkpatrick is committed to helping patients attain optimal health through a comprehensive, well balanced approach to health and wellbeing. He utilizes a wide variety of chiropractic, physical therapy, and rehabilitative techniques along with counseling regarding diet, exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications to best serve a patient’s individual health concerns. Dr. Kirkpatrick has made it his personal mission to empower patients to take their health into their own hands by educating them about the underlying cause of disease and dysfunction within the human body. He believes that a safe, natural, conservative approach is the best first option when dealing with any health condition, but works closely with a multi-disciplinary team of medical experts spanning all healthcare disciplines when necessary.

With neck and back pain on the rise due to the American epidemic of poor posture, longer hours sitting, fewer hours sleeping, poorer diets, and stress, it is no wonder so many people are in pain. By taking the time to perform a detailed history and examination Dr. Kirkpatrick is able to get to the root cause behind a person's health issues and identify contributing factors. This approach allows for faster recovery and longer lasting results.

Dr. Kirkpatrick treats patients of all ages and ability levels including infants, seniors, elite athletes, weekend warriors, and those wanting to start or return an active lifestyle. He is dedicated to helping people achieve and evolve their personal health goals; whether it is getting out of chronic pain or running their next marathon. He specializes in postural corrective work, chronic pain, sports injuries, patient ergonomics, headaches, and jaw pain.

Dr. Kirkpatrick grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, in Elk Grove Village. Fascinated with healthcare from an early age, he decided to pursue a career as a Dentist, following in his family's footsteps. Although he was not exposed to chiropractic care at an early age, he began to suffer for many years from headaches, neck and back pain following several car accidents and sports related injuries. Getting little to no help from conventional medical treatment, he decided it was time to take a different approach to address his health concerns. He began seeing a local chiropractor and was amazed with the results and how this whole-health, safe, conservative, natural approach matched with his personal philosophy.

Dr. Kirkpatrick earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic (D.C.) at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. There, Dr. Kirkpatrick learned to recognize and treat a wide variety health concerns and their underlying causes rather than only the associated symptoms. He learned to apply the art, science, and philosophy of natural healthcare and the importance of a adopting a conservative approach first. While in school he attended continuing education seminars and participated in Motion Palpation Club, Gonstead Club, and served as Co-Captain of the Palmer Golf Team.

Dr. Kirkpatrick performed his residency in the state-of-the-art Palmer Quad Cities Clinics and was an active member at the Salvation Army Outreach Clinics. He served as an International Health Embassador for the chiropractic profession on a mission trip to Brazil. There, he assisted in providing healthcare services to an underserved and economically disadvantaged area, and helped to raise money for education and sanitation.

Dr. Kirkpatrick is passionate about patient education and has given talks on office ergonomics, injury prevention, nutrition, weight-loss, and the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle at all ages. In his free-time he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, biking, golfing, fly-fishing, and hiking.
